TheBestVPN.uk is an independent, affiliate-supported UK VPN review and comparison publication. Some links on this site are affiliate links.
What an affiliate link means
If you follow an affiliate link and buy a product or service, TheBestVPN.uk may receive a commission from the provider. This normally does not increase the price you pay. Not every external link is an affiliate link.
Affiliate links may appear in reviews, comparisons, buying guides, deal pages, tables, buttons and offer boxes. A clear disclosure should appear on commercial pages before or close to the first affiliate call to action.
How the site is funded
Affiliate revenue helps pay for hosting, product access, research, testing and the work required to maintain the site. Commission rates and commercial relationships can differ between providers.
Editorial independence
Commission does not determine a VPN’s verdict, ranking or “best for” label. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a positive review. Products should be judged on the evidence relevant to UK readers, with important limitations and alternatives stated clearly.
Where commissioned or sponsored content is accepted, it must be labelled so readers can understand the arrangement. Payment does not buy an undisclosed positive conclusion.
Testing and evidence
Commercial reviews and rankings may combine Stuart Kerr Spindlow’s first-hand product use with current provider documentation and independent source checking. The article should identify genuine hands-on experience accurately and should not imply that a particular measurement, support interaction, refund or subscription event occurred unless evidence for it exists.
More detail is available in How We Test VPNs and the Editorial Policy.
Your choice
You do not have to use an affiliate link. You can visit a provider directly, compare its current terms and decide whether the product is suitable for you. Always check the final price, billing period, renewal terms and refund conditions before paying.
